Paola
Claudia Melucci
was born in Verona on July 14th, 1960.
From her childhood she was fond of art and started drawing as a very little
girl.
Since 1965 she lives in Bagno a Ripoli (Firenze) near the "Chiantishire".
She studied painting and achitecture and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts of Florence, thus participating in various stages and exibitions (among others the "Biennale di Venezia" in 1978).
Then she produced
various stages, for theathrical pieces.
In 1980 she travelled
extensively throughout the States, Mexico and Guatemala.
Then she spent a couple of mounths in Sri Lanka (the former Kingdom of
Ceylon) studing both the local culture and the natural environmant of
that Asian island.
After 13 year experience in the publishing field, she started producing
mosaics.
